Being a student or youth in The Gate is a great way to make friendships that will last you a lifetime and into eternity! Whether simply hanging out, going for lunch or coming along to one of our many meetings, you are sure to get connected in to the life of our church.
12:25 Meetings
The foundational Scripture for these meetings is John 12: 25 – “Anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life, but if you let go, reckless in your love, you’ll have it forever, real and eternal.” 12 to 25 is also the age range of people that these meetings are aimed at! Clever huh?
First Sunday of the month: Banter night at 6pm (July – September) or Acoustic Soul Cafe at 8pm (October – December). Acoustic Cafe is for ages 16-30. Both events in the function suite.

Third Sunday: Prayer meeting at 6pm in the function suite

Free Soup...
Every Wednesday during term time, The Gate is the place to be. Free soup for students. From noon. Just follow the crowds. Miss it, miss out!
... followed by Student Alpha* Pudding
After dinner, do you need something sweet? Home-baked cakes, W-ii, Halo, X-box, fusball and the chance to talk about Christianity in a fun, non-threatening environment.
Sunday Lunch
Not necessarily roast and 3 veg, but if you wait around after the service there is ALWAYS a group of students and young people who go for lunch to a local eaterie. Don’t be shy, simply invite yourself along and make some new friends.
