A new beginning

I come from a Catholic family but did not really know God. I became a Christian through Christians Against Poverty at The Gate as I was in a lot of dept.  They came to sort out my finances and the Ian Bell, the CAP worker and his support-worker, Fiamma Dobson introduced me to Jesus. Then Fiamma prayed for my healing.  That night I stopped taking  temazepam sleeping tablets that I had needed for 12 years.  I had no withdrawal symptoms and I have never needed them since.  I had severe depression, fybromyalgia and agoraphobia.  Fiamma came and did Bible studies with me in my house.  Now I can go everywhere I need to alone - I can shop, I am not depressed and my fybromyalgia has almost gone.  I have so much more confidence, I have met real friends, I now go swimming with my friends in cell group, I volunteer at the church for Student Feed and Little Angels (parent and toddler group).  I could not do this without my heavenly Father and the support of my church family.  I have the confidence to do the things I could not do before.  Thank you Lord!
